A prenatal yoga class is designed with only pregnant women in mind.  It is different from a normal yoga class and also different than a restorative yoga class.  You will get a workout - a workout specifically designed for the physical, emotional, and supportive needs of pregnant women.  

Even for a seasoned yoga practitioner who may be able to complete her normal yoga class with modifications, there are many good reasons to choose prenatal yoga during your pregnancy.  Prenatal classes focus on mindful movement, strength-building in preparation for labor and motherhood, breath practices to use as a tool during labor (and motherhood too;), releasing tension and opening shoulders and hips, and fostering focus and self-awareness.
