I turned to yoga after years of classical ballet training and running left me with knee injuries. I found myself in a yoga class after all my other exercise choices made my knees hurt worse. I walked away in awe of what the practice did for my mind as well as my body. I was hooked and quickly realized I had become a yoga student for life. I trained under Susan Smith earning her 200 hour certification and I continue my study of vinyasa power flow yoga through reading and through my practice. I look forward to learning more everyday.
I teach a structured class to build strength and stamina while fostering flexibility and fluidity. Always through the linking of breath to movement, I nurture the mind/body connection to facilitate clarity of mind, awareness of self, and the enjoyment of living in the present moment.
