Yoga Basics

This unheated class assists the new student to learn basic postural alignment, appropriate modifications, and become comfortable with class cuing and formatting.  Yoga Basics is also recommended if you are rehabbing an injury. In this class, you will receive extra attention, have the ability to ask questions during class, and learn how to modify poses according to your needs.

Gentle Flow

An unheated yoga class serving students with a variety of distinct needs: relief from movement limitations, disabilities and chronic conditions (e.g., arthritis, back pain and other musculo-skeletal issues and those in recovery from surgery, illness or injury); seniors, new practitioners, women who are pregnant and those seeking stress-reduction or weight management. Gentle yoga classes are typically appropriate for those who want a softer, nurturing, slow-paced, well-supported and relaxing practice.

Lunchtime Yoga

A 45 minute, non-heated class designed to get you in & out with some yummy yoga in between.

Slow Flow

An all-levels class that focuses on slow, breath-linked movement to foster a calm, meditative state.  Typically, these classes are concluded with a longer relaxation and savasana at the conclusion of practice.  This class may be unheated, warm or hot.

Warm

A vinyasa flow class that helps deepen students’ body awareness, alignment, and confidence.  A perfect choice for those wanting to gain strength, increase flexibility, and learn more about this amazing practice of yoga!  Modifications are offered so students can take the class at their pace. Temperature is in the low-mid80’s.

Hot

A dynamic class linking breath to movement which builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and concentration. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations. A more intense class for intermediate to advanced practitioners - heated in the 90’s. Be prepared to sweat!

Kundalini

A traditional Kundalini Yoga class as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Each class incorporates mantra, postures, breathwork and meditation to directly stimulate energy in the body. Each class is different, but in general this is a very invigorating practice.  No experience is necessary and all-levels are welcome!

Fityoga

A functional fitness class designed through a yogic perspective. Challenging for both body and mind, with the goal being clarity, strength, and unity of mind, body, and soul.  Modifications for all fitness levels will be provided, but expect to be challenged. All manner of athlete, yogi and human willing to laugh hard and play hard welcome!

Yin

A practice that complements your active, yang-based practice. It opens and conditions fascia – the connective tissue that binds our bodies - rather than the muscles that are worked in traditional, active Hatha Yoga. Postures are held for 2- 5 minutes in order to safely and slowly release tension. The perfect class for those who are looking for increased flexibility, stress relief, to begin a yoga practice, or to balance out an active, hard-working body. Please bring two large towels.

Prenatal

A class specifically designed to meet the needs of a pregnant woman. These classes are unheated and all-levels, and will help reduce the aches and pains of pregnancy as well as prepare the body and mind for childbirth.

Private Classes

Can be arranged individually or with your own group.  Spend time finding your own modifications or we can develop sequencing to address an injury or limitation.  Private lessons take your practice to the next level.

Special Events & Workshops

We offer an array of seasonal workshops and events. These are specially designed for each season and are not included in drop-in/class-card pay schedule (additional charges will apply).
