Ayurveda Yoga Specialist Program
An Ayurveda Yoga Specialist certification will open new doors and revenue streams in your yoga teaching and healing practice by laying the groundwork for you to support individuals in managing their lifestyles for optimum health. Because Ayurveda has so many avenues for kick-starting the healing process, you will have a number of tools (in addition to asana) to support your clients in creating optimal health.
The AYS program is a NAMA-approved 120 hour course that provides yoga teachers with a complete Ayurvedic tool-kit. Upon successful completion of the 4 AYS modules, you will be certified in providing Ayurveda counseling and lifestyle enhancements to your students and individual clients.
300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training/AYS Dual Certification
The Yoga Secrets 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training is a dual certification program from the Himalayan Institute that is designed to honor the ancient practices of yoga and Ayurveda and provide a platform for yoga teachers with a 200 hour certification to deepen their own personal practice and expand their teachings. Certification requirements include: full attendance in the training intensive, required reading, knowledge assessments, and two written assignments to be completed after the training intensive. Most participants complete their certification requirements in six months to one year. All participants must complete certification requirements within three years in order to receive certification.
